Over the years, we have owned many breeds of dogs both AKC-recognized breeds and mix matched shelter rescue pets. Above any others, Labrador Retriever puppies have won our hearts over for sure because of their dispositions, intelligence, and big hearts. Often when researching where our next Lab puppy would come from, we found ourselves sifting through a mountain of options. These usually ranged from someone shuffling puppies out of their neighbors shed to very reputable, high integrity, and well known breeding programs.
More often than not, we found ourselves struggling to find or receive the information and background in a timely fashion that we wanted to make educated decisions. Those hundreds of hours in the past is what drives us to strive to be the one of the most informative and transparent breeders of Labs available.
Hickory Hill Silver Labs is a family owned and operated kennel specializing in silver labs located in southern Indiana. All aspects of care
for our dogs are performed by myself Sean, wife Emily, son Ethan, and Son Layton. Hickory Hills property allows our dogs use of 19 acres of pasture and woods. Our current kennel facilities were newly built in 2015. All kennels are located indoors and both heated and cooled as needed due to the interesting weather ups and downs here in southern Indiana.
Most evenings are spent by the canine gang retrieving, obedience training, swimming, hunting critters in the woods, or just laying around relaxing on the comfy rugs. No matter the activity our labs want nothing more than to be right by our side.
Our most important mission at Hickory Hills Silver Labs is to breed some of the best pedigree dogs available to truly produce man’s best friends and a healthy part of your family.
Our philosophy is that information breeds confidence and is of the utmost importance. We strive to provide our clients with every available fact and information regarding our dogs and kennel so that they may make the best decisions possible when making such an important decision as when adding a new member to their family.
